Did you buy the letters or cut those out?

Digital Scrapbook Love.
I just got photoshop so Im playing. I cant get too excited over things I cant feel and am making a list of things I want to buy, like, paper punches so I can do these things for real. like in paintings. punch out leaves and flowers and build up a 3d effect.

I cant sleep! Tomorrow the rescue is coming for the home visit to make final sure I live in a safe environment, but even so i still may not get holly. Its between me and another family! Oh my heart! I am trying to think positively that I am the best one for her. I am I am. i hope they see that!

I have her little picture by my bed.

I know what you mean about photoshop. There is so much you can do with it, but I just don't get excited. You have that great 3D look with the letters, but if you print it out it will just be flat. whereas I was seeing it actually floating on top of your page with little crunchy flowers. Gotta have the sensory.

I bought one little paper punch of a dragonfly the other day, just to see if I like it. It's great. I want to get more shapes.

That's amazing that they check you out so fully. They must have lots of people looking for doggies to actually have competition. I wish it was like that here, instead they have to put a lot of unwanted dogs down.
I wish you the best of luck.

Suzi,

Have you ever visited Teesha Moore's art journal pages. I was just there and thought I would share the link with you and your goddesses because there are so fun.

I know that the next video is about art scrapbooking and I thought that her type of art journal might be a tug in the direction you are heading. Maybe not, but it is fun to see all these journals posted in one place.

BTW, I loved your last painting!!!

Hehe I was looking at that picture thinking 'is it real or digital??'. I used to do a lot of Photoshopping and the results usually satisfied me (and the programme is so diverse! It's amazing), but there is -nothing- better than being able to FEEL your art.

Suzi, I love the new little Photoshopped design, I have Photoshop Elements 4.0, which version do you have? Do you think that your Photoshop is user friendly or not?
BTW, you have inspired me to post a step by step painting instruction on my blog, I'm getting more confident by the day!
hugs to you,
Edie

Me and my sweetie share a love for creating, but he does it digitally while I mess about with paints and pencils and crayons. I like it that way. ;)

Good luck on the home visit. It's great to hear that they take the adoption process so seriously.

I got those same embellishments, (a freebie, right?) I've used them for my digital scrapbooking. I like to try everything, so I do digital scrapbooking, paper scrapbooking, digital photo illustrations, drawing and ofcourse: ART JOURNALS!! I'm just one of those people that loves to learn a lot of different things... but you know what? that design is really cute! I love it!

Good luck Suzi with the doggie!

OMG! An 8 week SuziBlu class! We are so excited we can't wait! Wouldn't it be great to burn it to iDVD and sell it to your adoring friends in cyberland (nudge nudge, wink wink)?

We have started an unofficial, once a week SB day at my house where friends get together and make journal pages. Our third friend starts this week, our third week.

Good luck on you puppy visit today. Trust the Universe to know what's best for you.

Holly,Holly,Holly how cool is that Christmas in July! Wahoo...I am here if anyone needs help learning Adobe Photo shop. I own CS2 the professional version.

This is the best place to buy elements on the net for scrap booking and using in designs. http://www.scrapbookgraphics.com/welcome.htm

Lesson : After you create your designs you always need to make sure you have saved it in 144 Resolution in PSD. Then it is important to flatten image which you will find located under layers in your drop down menu. If you do not do this you will not have the true effect your image had on screen.

Okay now for the Cats meow!! I got my wacom pen all I can say is I'm in heaven!! This tool is blown me away! Today is a beautiful day for sure!!! This pen is so cool you can draw and paint with it! To many things to list what it can do! Suzi drop by and see me when you get time. I have a gift for you on my blog.

Lesson: That is steps you must take before you print out your design..
Sorry forgot to say that.

Giving good Holly hopes and prayers to Suzi!!

I'd be happy to help with Photoshop, Suz, if you ever need it. In my latest blog post you can see I doodled a kitty cat and scanned that into my computer, and then painted it in photoshop and used photographs to texturize it.

Also, I must disagree with what someone said earlier. I never save less than 300dpi.

But I digress....Holly-LOVE and wishes to you!!

Oh an online class would be great Suzi! I am teaching myself to be more painterly in my collage work.

You know, the paints you use seems to move around on the paper so fluidly (is that even a word?!?) and I can't figure out what kind they are. I use acryllics-cheapo ones mostly, but I do have some Goldens. I am such a greenhorn when it comes to what types of paints to use.

GOod luck with the dog. I know it will all work out. ;)
