Beautiful photo. I am excited to see what you will do.

I have been making the board book into a kind of scrapping thingie. Not intentionally but I wanted to use old photos of me as a kid. A way of reintegrating myself with a part of me I had left behind (I think I thought it would leave old pain behind. Worked for a while but it all returns at midlife. Beautiful how it works really, bits of yourself that at midlife you are strong enough to take back.)

I don't know if I could "scrapbook". It's too perfect for me to deal with. Good for you for trying it. I can't wait to see what you come up with.

I tend to agree with what apple said, but know also you always end up with such creative, fantabulous work, so I look forward to this evolution!

You would be surprised at how much scrapbooking has changed in the last few years. It is a lot more artsy and sloppy and not so perfect anymore. There are some really great Scrappers out there that do pages that are more about themselves and their lives instead of their kid's first birthday party etc. Here are a few

They need a new word for scrapbooking. Maybe creative arranging or something. Anyway, branching out is a good thing....who knows where it might lead you to.

I see yummy papers and ribbons and stickers and even an embroidery hoop!

Scrapbooking doesn't have to be perfect! Like any other art, you can make it what you want it to be!

my scrapbooking is anything but perfect since I am not perfect in any way shape or form. It really is all about finding a creative outlet to express yourself and whatever works is great

Gorgeous photo too! So atmospheric.

I can't wait to see the scrapbooking, and I'm STILL trying to find a cheap board book in my local Tesco.
(You can't get anything in the UK. Sigh)

You're right, we need a new name for it too, better get our thinky-heads on :o)
