That was absolutely amazing. Three things stood out to me. First of all how she talks about the feeling that happiness somehow feels like it equals being numb or disconnected or selfish. How can you be happy in this world? It's wonderful to hear someone give voice to these thoughts and then say, but you CAN be happy. Hearing that gives me so much hope I can hardly describe it. Then the thing about the ice cream and how these women found hope in a situation so devoid of hope. That literally made me cry. Finally, how she talks about 'when we give in the world what we want the most, we heal the broken part inside each of us'. That is probably the wisest and truest thing I have ever heard anyone say.

I had heard of this play, the Vagina Monologues, and I never took the time to find out what it was about. I had thought that it was a crude comedy! I can't believe that I missed out on seeing the play and hearing this wisdom. Thankyou for sharing this video Suzi.

I was all prepared to comment that this was a perfectly nice video, but really not my bag. And then I watched it. I have completely misjudged this movement. This video is amazing. I can't wait to see more of them. You continue to inspire me in every way!

Suzi,
As the only male to be commenting on this video, may I say a big thank you for putting it up. Made me cry. Made me angry (for the right reasons). Inspired me.
Just great Suzi. Thank you so much for sharing that with us!
