Great video! I find myself sitting in front of the canvas, not sure where to start sometimes, I really think using a horizon line will help.

It was worth the wait. I love my little iron thingey. I got it right after I read one of Claudine Hellmuth's books. I always learn something from you that makes me approach my book a whole new way. Thanks!

It works but the smoke is not so good! ick! suzi, can you please help me choose some bees wax? I don't know what kind to get. My painting is on my blog if you want to have a looksy.

I have so missed your vlogs but i am glad that you are getting better. Love this weeks video!

I am tempted to get some bees wax and try it on some of my artwork. Are you a big fan of bees wax? Does it really make that much of a difference? Also is it easy to clean up??

I just wanted to say thank you. Becuase of you have taken up painting again. I had forgotten how much i loved doing it.

Oh Suzi Sue...
Hope you're feeling better :(
The flu had me for two whole weeks, and it is so hard to be a creative soul when you are battling the 'bugs'.
I love your latest vid and love, love, love 'lifebook',
Thank you so much for giving us something to call it other than an art journal.
Warmest hugs to you and poo... is it Sunday yet?

Hi Lover!

Ruby got a good giggle everytime your voice took on a high note wit your Jersey twang.
Love it, love you....glad you're
V-vuh-vuhvglogging!
Please Notice how even your little scribble of not knowing what to draw (during the horizon by example part) even that was a toss off of loveliness...you got the touch, girl. So good to see you not only utilizing it but passing it on.

Hi Suzi, Loved the vlog on "Art Playshops With Suzi Blu: Layouts-n-Morality".

Such cute girls in crayon. I got a iron, drew in pencil, and colored the figures with crayon on watercolor paper. Then I gave the seam iron a try....it wouldn't melt the crayon. I even left in on it for a time.

I asked Judy Wise if I had the wrong iron and she said it didn't work when she tried it either.

It is the Iron? Do I need a different one or the Paper we used! Please tell us what happen. Did you use bees wax too?

Thanks so much for the help. It looks like so much fun!!!!

deirdra -

I did not use beeswax just the iron over crayon and it doesnt melt it exactly just melts a little enough to smear it, did that happen with you? I will do
it again for myself tonight and go over what Im doing and write down precisely the steps.
hmff. I will get to
the bottom of this mystery!
I will write back tonight.

p.s. Doesnt 'suzi blu' sound like 'scooby doo'?
