The comments are gone from earlier today..wondering if you received them? I had asked a couple of questions. :( I suppose even if you didn't read the nice words I wrote for you...my good thoughts will fly thew the air to reach you anyway.

Suzi,

I found your art vlog through Inspire Me Thursday ... I just have to say, thank you, thank you, thank you. These are wonderful, informative and inspiring. I love your style!

I am an emerging artist at age 43. Somehow I absorbed the message at a young age that I was not the artist in the family and my creativity was suppressed that long. Just last year, I began to break free.

I have sporadically kept an art journal but I am motivated now to do this consistently. Here I am, 6:30 in the morning because it is the only quiet time in this houseful of people ... my husband and eight of my nine children. But I am going to do it.

I will share my pages soon.

Anam - Comments are still there I read your nice words! I am new to Blogger and it doesnt seem to let me respond directly to a person, I just make a general comment? I dont like that. THANK YOU for your wonderful words, and the paints I use are EVERYTHING from cheap acrylics to lushes Golden brand paint. Golden fluid Acrylics are HEAVEN for journaling.

Hope your therapist doesn't zap that beautiful personality in oblivion.

Your bandwidth is back to normal now.

What are you studying?

Keep healthy in mind and spirit.

dear suzi bluzi, yay! you got bandwidth!!! ( i know NOTHING of these things either -poor honey- but i'm glad you got it resolved. )

i wanted to tell you that, as of this afternoon, i have finished 3, YES T-H-R-E-E, mini paintings!! ( 8x8" canvases. ) ...and i only started yesterday! i haven't done that since college art classes!! =) (and that's been awhile!) =)

so, i will try to find a way to show you my work.

other than that *THANK YOU GIRL*! i only just discovered you a few days ago, and look at all the other new folks checkin' you out! that is awesome. =) i guess the universe was ready for some JOURNALIN' !!

of course, my cat is right in front of my face now as i'm trying to write this note to you... the really funny thing is that she has a spot of yellow cadmium oil paint on her front paw!!! just this bright sunshine yellow mark that stands out like a neon light!! that made me laugh this morning!

we're both getting into the spirit!

Your videos are awesome! Thanks for sharing. When you set it up the way you do, step by step, it doesn't seem so daunting for people like me who want to keep an art journal but feel like they just don't have time. Peace and love!

I loved your video! Came here by way of IMT, but someone else just directed me here the other day. How odd....or meant to be that I take a closer look here. :)

I think a LOT of us found you through IMT! You are ... wonderful! Not only do I love your art, but your personality ... you are just wonderful! Thanks for the tip on packing tape transfers - but I can only get it to work on laser printers, not ink jet - BUT seeing you do it with a Sharpie - oh the possiblilities!!!
Thanks so much for sharing the how to do this - oh, I bought some oil pencils - but I can't 'smoosh' the pigment around like you did in another of your vlogs - is there a trick to it, without using turpentine??? Melanie

you are an inspiration for all of us woment ( and men of course ) who wishes to express their emotions, their inner dreams, anything they feel, through art and journaling. I am so new to this, I used to keep a journal when I was a teenager and I want to start doing this again. Thank you for being so wonderful, so generous and so loving.
